World of Warcraft Item Upgrade and Set Bonuses
The item upgrade is a type of enchantment that improves the stats of specific weapons or armor. This includes secondary statistics such as Leech and Speed.
A special evolution item that allows Porygon to transform into Porygon2. It is found at Pokestops and Gyms.
Universal upgrades are able to be used on any type of gear and offer less benefits than other components that are equipment type specific to the equipment type.
Leveling
item upgrades allows players to improve items by increasing their level. The increase in level also increases the item's "guaranteed" bonuses. Each level upgrade gives an additional bonus based on tier and increases a stat by +3. These extras range from a +3 bonus to +1, to an unspecified buff.
Each item is limited to a particular number of upgrades. After an upgrade the item is completed, it can be upgraded to a product of equal or greater worth.
This system is very useful for players who want to acquire equipment with a certain level of stats before they have the opportunity to obtain an item that is new. The transfer system allows players to avoid wasting upgrade materials and is simple to use.
Upgrade materials are collected as a player clears content and can be used to enhance or replace an item. Every item requires a specific kind of upgrade material. Weapons require Destruction Stones, while armor requires Guardian or Harmony Leapstones. Once you've reached your level 6 upgrade goal, it's usually better to roll down and find the best upgrades you can or save for the next set of items. This will help you have an impressive team by the time you get to the level 9 upgrade goal.
The rerolling process is similar to that of the system of leveling up. You can use reroll tokens to eliminate any Level Up option from your item and exchange it for another. Reroll tokens unlike Level Up do not reset the item's level. This means that when you reroll an upgraded item, it won't be at that level and won't have its extra bonus.
In addition to rerolling, players can make use of a specific mechanism called Eliminate that allows them to eliminate any Level Up option from their weapons or equipment. They are useful for organizing things and employing operations like intersection, union, and differences to manage them effectively. Sets can be used in many ways, such as organizing the music on a playlist or classifying students according to their grades.
In Nioh the game, players use sets to offer special effects for players who wear pieces of a specific Armor Set. These bonuses are called Set Bonuses and can be superior to Effects. Although it's not clear in-universe why the armor sets need to be worn together to create these effects, they can provide some variety when playing the game. The armor sets with Set Bonuses can be found in many places around Hyrule, such as the Dark Moon Temple and Twilight Temple.
Each piece of equipment in a Set comes with a variety of Set bonuses that go along with it. You can identify which ones these are by hovering over the item and looking at the tooltip near the bottom. The Set Bonuses will appear in an orange box.
Certain Set Bonuses are only available to a specific piece of equipment. For example, if you have the complete Phantom Armor set you will get +8 defense (compared to the usual +3 defense included in most gear). Other sets can only be obtained through certain quests or by purchasing them from the Auction House.
It is also possible to get Set Bonuses on several pieces of equipment at the same time. If you own the entire Kestra's Descent Set and the corresponding parts of Twinblade of Shadow, you will be able to get the version with the + set's bonus if you be able to match the two sets.
Set Bonuses are the same, even if the equipment to which they are connected is upgraded. However, if an item is exemplarized to levels that are not enough the set bonus will stop working.
Set bonuses
Set bonuses are unique effects that can appear on an item set and give players a boost in combat. For example, the incredibly popular 7 school specific Dragoon's gear will get its bonus added to it as soon as the update is live.
While Set Bonuses do not stack within sets, they do stack with other sets. This is a great option for players who wish to mix sets in the most efficient way. It requires some planning. Set bonuses only affect the shell (not the armoring or mods) of an piece of equipment, so you should be aware when putting them.
It is important to know that the value of a set's bonus will not change regardless of whether your exemplar level is greater than three levels below the minimum required for an enhancement. This rule does not apply to Purple (Very rare) Sets, PvP Sets and Archetype Origin Sets. Their set bonuses will function regardless of the exemplar level.
